Yorkshire 3 Peaks
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is a long established challenge walk of around 40km (24.5 miles) We will start at Ribblehead and go via Whernside, 728M, Ingleborough, 723M and Pen y Ghent, 691M.
The aim is to complete the walk in under 12 hours
This not a walk to be undertaken lightly, many people don't anticipate how hard it is, walking 24 miles on these hills is different to walking in the park. We will provide you with a kit list
Edale Skyline
One of our favourite walks, At 32 km it's another challenge and an ideal step before tackling the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. Starting in the village of Hope we'll first visit Win Hill, 462M and then head north to pick up the southern edge of the Kinder plateau visiting locations such as Ringing Roger, Grindslow Knoll before reaching the Pennine way above Jacobs ladder, from there it's making our way along to Brown knoll, Rushup Edge and Mam Tor before making our way to the last peak of the day at Lose Hill, from there it's an easy descent back to Hope (maybe in time for coffee and cake)
Ullswater Way
Another of our classic challenge walks, at around 32km in length it's another ideal preparation walk for the likes of a Yorkshire 3 peaks attempt. This makes a complete loop around Ullswater, we'll start and finish at Glenridding heading clockwise. A couple of slight alterations to the route are possible for faster groups.
